Chris's Stitches started in 2001 after a serious motorcycle crash in 2000 that left Chris with a broken back and her husband Ken with a shattered left ankle.  Chris has taught embroidery, digitizing, sewing and quilting for years so she was well qualified for this business.  Ken had some business savvy, mechanical and computer aptitude and darn little else besides a plan for retirement, so that qualifies him for machine operator, sales staff and bookkeeping.  

We currently have a four commercial head shop (2- 15 Needle Barudans & 1 - 12 Needle Toyota, 1 - 12 Needle Happy Voyager).  

A 12' wide APQS quilting machine is now in Chris' sewing room with a CompuQuilter added.  Quilting is Chris' true love and she's darn good at it.  (hey I can brag, I married her and it's our website).

We offer personalized experienced service with a reasonable turnaround time, this is generally two weeks or less for larger orders. (A couple of items for names can usually be done while you wait.) You can figure 4-7 days from the time we start discussing the order to the time we get the material to start, providing we've received your deposit. If you're a current customer and we have your design, then it's much faster. 

Many shops get their digitizing and/or embroidery done in Asia, we are 100% USA, we do it ourselves.

We do send some patch orders to China if the quantity is more than we can comfortably handle and we need to be very price competative.
